The promising Oldenburg champion of 2015, Benico son Bonds, is the sire of Mandela. On dam’s side this young stallion is combined with the proven sire GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. and Johnson TN. Dream Boy performs on the highest level with Hans Peter Minderhoud, he has several Grand Prix’s on his name and earned a silver team medal at the European Championship in Rotterdam past summer. Also his offspring seems promising, many of his offspring perform well in the sports and inspections. The dam to Mandela is the seven-year-old elite mare Indira, who received 8’s in the IBOP test herself. Also the ZZ-Licht horses Oliver Twist and Indiana Jones (s.Rossini) come from this dam line. Via his grand dam Cointreau, Mandela carries the valuable blood of Johnson. This sire is currently in second place on the WBFSH Sire Ranking, has given many Grand Prix horses and has been elected as Horse of the Year 2019.
