With a granddam who proved herself at international 1.45m level under Kristian Houwen and a great-granddam, who even performed at 1.60m level with Catherine Pasmore, Rothschild VM comes from a distinguished family. Great-granddam Z-Canta VM is a sibling to several international 1.40/1.45m level horses, including the bronze medalist at last year’s seven-year-old World Championships: Labantrix (s.Eldorado van de Zeshoek), who is continuing her career under Edwina Tops-Alexander. Rothschild VM’s dam Miss Meever passed the mare test scoring six times an 8 and a total score of 79 points, and she brings in the performance genes of the Grand Prix stallion Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest. Sire Lay Out recently debuted at 1.40m level under his new rider Robert Vos and made a good impression with his first sons at the stallion approvals. From a very limited number of coverings, he has two sons selected for the KWPN Stallion Show.
