Sire Lay Out competed internationally at 1.40m-level last year under Robert Vos and, despite his limited offspring, he produced talented progeny such as this Safwan VM. This promising young horse was bred from a solid Westphalian damline. His dam Burandot earned a commendable score of 80.5 points in her IBOP test and later competed on 1.35m-level. She has already produced four daughters who passed the EPTM mare test, including the internationally 1.30m-level competing NMK mare Kiekeboe VM (s.Cidane, EPTM 85). Granddam La Turandot produced another 1.30m-level showjumper. In the second generation, the influential sport stallion Contendro II adds his proven genetics. He has produced top-level horses like GC Chopin’s Bushi, Brighton, and Call Me. Further back, the pedigree of Safwan VM is strengthened by sires I Love You and Pilot.
