The stallion Scuderia 1918 Casago, who won the Italian championship at international 1.60m level with Piergiorgio Bucci in 2020, is performing well at top level and represents a successful damline. Just like his well-known half-brother Harley VDL, Casago is making great progress in breeding. Santiago was bred out of the mare Carlanda, who already foaled two 1.35m level showjumpers and is a half-sister of the international 1.50m horse Now or Never (s.Burggraaf) ridden by Piet Raijmakers. Granddam Galanda has competed at international 1.40m level under Edwin Smits and also foaled the international 1.45m showjumper Balando (s.Burggraaf). This line continues with the mare Alanda, who has performed up to 1.50m level with Pieter Kersten, and is listed as the dam of Geoff Glazard's Grand Prix horse It's The Business (s.Jasper). Besides that, she is granddam of the international 1.45m horse Ibiza Z and the 1.40m level jumping stallion Zambesi.
