So Nanda has the same granddam as the successful international Grand Prix showjumper H&M Christian K, with whom Peder Fredricson won several Nations Cup competitions and team silver at the WEG in Tryon. She was bred out of the mare Kirnanda, who is a half-sister of the international 1.60m jumping horse Enanda (s.Nabab de Rêve) of Lucy Deslauriers and the international 1.50m level competing Donanda of John Perez, who is -just like So Nanda- an offspring of the international sport and breeding stallion Douglas. This Darco son has made great progress in breeding as the sire of top showjumpers such as Suma's Zorro, Dougie Douglas, Icarus and Coral Springs. The fact that Douglas is a good match with this damline is also underlined by the mare Cirnanda, who was declared as national free jumping champion in 2010. This Douglas mare comes directly out of So Nanda's well-producing granddam Nanda.
