Sombra da Mora is a half-brother to the ZZ-Zwaar (5th) level dressage horse Hamora (s.Krack C). His dam Cherilyn was bred out of the same dam as the international Grand Prix horse Zamora (s.Krack C), ridden by Lynne Maas. The ZZ-Zwaar horse Berlinda (s.United) also descends directly from Sombra da Mora’s granddam Mora. In the third generation, we find the mare Hamora. She produced the ZZ-Zwaar horse O Marie (s.Jetset-D) and is listed as the granddam of successful horses such as the international Grand Prix horse Famora (s.Blue Hors Zack) ridden by Carlotta Rogerson and Small Tour horses Apache (s.Rhodium), Bon Jovi (s.UB40), and Damor (s.Wynton). Also the Small Tour horse Kind Pleasure (s.Governor) traces back to Hamora. Sire Ladignac represents a solid damline and continues his sporting career under Alexa Fairchild, having shown great promise for advanced work as a young horse.
