As a half-brother to both the KWPN-approved premium stallion Pride (s.Secret) and Toto Gold (s.Glock’s Toto Jr.), approved by several German studbooks, expectations for this Sunshine are remarkably high. His dam Idol is renowned as the full sister of World Champion Jovian. Under Andreas Helgstrand and Patrik Kittel, this Apache son achieved significant successes, securing multiple international Grand Prix victories. Granddam Zinith also produced the national Grand Prix dressage horse Friend (s.Rousseau) of Cecilia Stewart, and this direct lineage includes the KWPN-approved stallion Astrix (s.Obelisk). As a five- and six-year-old, Astrix won the World Championship for Young Dressage Horses and later competed at Intermediate II level. Sire Total McLaren made a strong impression at the Bundeschampionat and, following an injury, now focuses entirely on breeding.
