In the pedigree of Syrië we find the promising, genetically very valuable stallion Pegase van 't Ruytershof coupled with a strong part of Holstei damline 429, which leads directly back to the dam of the international sport stallion and top progenitor Numero Uno (s.Libero H). Syrië is the first offspring of the Zirocco Blue VDL mare Nadine. She passed the IBOP with 8s for reflexes, scope and ability as a showjumper and a total of 78 points and is a half-sister of the international 1.60m horse Bellinda (s.Namelus R), with whom Kara Chad was the reserve combination for the Canadian team in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Granddam Ursula also foaled the international 1.45m showjumper Lux la Loi (s.Lux) as well as the KWPN approved stallion Malibu TN (s.Mr.Blue). Besides that, Ursula is listed as the granddam of Kim Emmen's international 1.50m level showjumper Artist van het Marienshof Z (s.Arezzo VDL).
