Under Diederik van Silfhout, New Orleans won the KNHS Championship at ZZ-Zwaar (5th) level as a six-year-old. Earlier, he already left no doubt about his talent in the performance test and was registered with 83 points. From a limited number of coverings, this now-gelded Blue Hors Farrell son produced Torino K, bred out of a daughter of the Olympic dressage stallion Arlando, with whom Diederik van Silfhout and Anna Zibrandtsen were highly successful. Through influential stallion Vivaldi, this Dutch damline then traces back to the Elcaro daughter Kivesta, who is recorded as the granddam of the Small Tour horses Evaldi L (s.Vivaldi) and Chyvesta (s.Voice). From this family also come Small Tour horses such as Avesto van Weltevreden (s.Gribaldi), Farao (s.Zonneglans) and Baccara van Weltevreden (s.Painted Black).
