Tin Tin van Seldsum comes from the renowned Balia line and was bred out of the nationally placed 1.50m-level mare Gin Gin Balia SMH, with whom Liza Houwen-Tiebot was successful in international classes at 1.40/1.45m-level. She has already produced four offspring that have competed at least at 1.30m-level, including the 1.40m-level performer Nils SMH. Granddam Bybalia SMH also competed up to 1.50m-level herself, with Michel Hendrix and Jeffrey Fields, and is a half-sister to the 1.50m-level horse Frybalia SMH ridden by Michael Pender. She is also recorded as the granddam of the KWPN-approved stallion Pina Colada van Seldsum. Stallion licensing champion Kannan Jr. delivered such strong performances at the highest level under Marcus Ehning and later Jur Vrieling that a sale became inevitable. At the end of October the stallion moved to Mexico, leaving behind a group of talented offspring.
